We had a fantastic time at the Berehaven Lodge and we are already planning a return trip next summer! Thank you.

A third shower (maybe in the main bathroom) would make a big difference. We were 3 couples staying for a weekend and 1 couple had to use the shower in another couples room.

The Berehaven Lodge was the perfect place for our family to stay while visiting the Beara Peninsula. We had the comfort and services of a hotel with the privacy and flexibility of our own house. The rooms were large, clean and comfortable. There was four bathrooms for our three bedroom cottage which meant no waiting on others. We really loved the location.

The lodges are gorgeous and we were in a great location too. Norah was lovely, friendly and knowledgeable. It's great that there are swings and a slide for children but I did find a couple of screws lying around down there, which I threw away. Also, we were hugely disappointed with the restaurant. We went on Monday night, to avoid Father's Day rush, but it was not good. 6 main courses on the menu, 4 beef and 2 chicken. I had hoped for fish but understand why there wasn't any on a Monday, but no other meat? We both had ribeye steak, asked for them medium-well, but they were both too well done. The atmosphere wasn't great either, difficult when there are just 2 couples in a restaurant but we didn't get 1 smile from either of the staff members, it felt like we were a burden.
