The accommodation is to a very high standard. The bedrooms and bathrooms especially were very high quality, like being in a hotel. We had only 2 small reservations: the coffee table was abit flimsy and we were worried it could be easily broken and a pair of scissors in with the kitchen utensils might be handy!
Enjoyed our week in accommodation at berehavenlodge mainly due to the comfort and cleanliness of the house, welcome food pack and having wifi in our house, which is vital (all of your houses should have it). If there were activities/ facilities for children or food/ bar on site the berehavenlodge would be a five star holiday location to revisit annually.
Had a wonderful family stay at Berehaven Lodge. Houses are beautiful, have everything you might need for a self catering holiday and sit right by the sea. Only disappointment is that the bar and restaurant were closed during our stay, so had to drive approx. 5km to nearest town for bar & restaurants. Would definitely recommend Berehaven Lodge for a peaceful holiday.
Lodges 8 & 4 have amazing views. Fantastic spacious and comfy cottages, couldn't fault them! The bar / restaurant were closed during our stay which was a shame as the views were even better from there but it didn't spoil our stay. Nora our cottage contact delivered great customer service, thank you for a lovely stay.
Our stay was wonderful not just because of the great October weather but the lodge was beautifully located and with a very high standard of finish; however the very best was that that the fridge was stocked with the makings of a traditional Irish breakfast, and there was bread (brown and white), cereals, tea, coffee, juice and milk. The staff were absolutely delightful. Definitely coming back and recommending anyone who is looking for somewhere to stay on the Beara peninsula.
